YES WE ARE SECULAR !

Caution : Those who can not read against their religion/ Can not hold rational sentiments on issue do not read .

                                   YES WE ARE SECULAR!

India a sovereign, socialist, secular, democratic republic declared by Constitution of India.. A secular state is a concept of secularism, whereby a state or country purports to be officially neutral in matters of religion, supporting neither religion nor irreligion. A secular state also claims to treat all its citizens equally regardless of religion, and claims to avoid preferential treatment for a citizen from a particular religion/nonreligion over other religions/nonreligion. Secular states do not have a state religion or equivalent, although the absence of a state religion does not guarantee that a state is secular.
We as an Indian are bound by constitution and that by birth make us secular. We so called secular do not support or oppose any particular religion or community. We do not offer any preferential treatment to the same. In a secular state freedom of expression must be there but freedom of dignified expression will only be permissible.

5 years back one gentleman in his electoral speech says “ I will cut those hands who raise a finger towards  a temple “ He is an MP walking free and enjoying all the executive privilege . A section of extremist lead destruction of more than 200 year old structure of mosque, this event followed by riots. I still want to get the names people behind this being punished.
There are people who make dirty and unacceptable picture of GOD/GODESS of a religion. There are people who every now and then give speech to promote a war in the name of religion on our own soil. In Asaam riots happened in the name of infiltration against a particular community.

I am not including the events happened in Jammu and Kashmir because that particular state is more vulnerable than rest of India.

These all events happened because one or other particular group of people have supported them.

YES WE ARE SECULAR!

From here onwards only perception of common people will be quoted not of politicians. When Salmaan rushdee unofficially banned from attending a literary function because a Islamic fundamentalist didn’t want him to be there. Our reaction what the hell is this? He is an artist we have all right to listen him. What was our reaction when Mr Hussain drew some crap from his brush? How dare he can do this?

Tamilnadu Govt bans Vishwaroopam . Kamal Hassan reacts that He will try to find a secular country where he can exercise his right to expression. We reacted in association with Mr. Hassan, He is absolutely right. Can’t we even say what we feel? Mr Hassan deserves justice.
Could the normal sentiments would have been the same if Amir khan would have said it at the time when Fanna faces same situation in Gujrat . We would have spoken bluntly he is a traitor with loyalty to Pakistan. Why doesn’t he go and live there and bla bla bla.

A very beautiful article “I am a Khan “attracted so much –ve fame. I read this article twice , didn’t find any suspicious or offensive stuff . Instead of appraising him for such a brilliant piece of literature most of us without even taking pain to read it came up with a conclusion that He is a traitor and loyal to our neighbourhood.

Our very own Home minister say Hafeez Saeed jee, Very loving leader of congress Mr Digvijay singh says Obama jee. He visits to terrorist family and promises some pension just to attract Muslim votes before UP state assembly election. We don’t say they have loyalty to Pakistan. Can we imagine a situation when any Leader from Muslim community could have said this? How we would have been reacting?

YES WE ARE SECULAR !

Sachhar committee report says Muslim needs quota more than Hindu OBC. We just move our ass and start saying sell this country just to get votes. Common we don’t need to have a law degree to access the situation. As per 2001 census Muslim consist 19% of total Indian population
Just take a look around us How many Muslims are in main stream of society ? How many of them doing white collar jobs? Look inside our class rooms how many Muslim class mates we have/had?
Are these numbers are anywhere to 19% ?

How they earn their livelihood , working in garage , selling fodder , meat , eggs , working as mechanics or something like that ( I am not saying people from other community not doing same I am trying to concentrate on majority and cause ) . How vulnerable to corruption these jobs are?  Regular interfere of local policeman for bribing and other exploitation is not unknown to us ?
We never consider their social condition.( Compare their social condition to other reserved communities )

Every now and then Gujjar community perform blockade against demand of reservation. We don’t react as they are not loyal to our motherland. We reacts but that’s all are how much more reservation yaar . Imagine if Muslim population doing same for same demand. Will our reaction will be similar answer is obvious no.
